wondering whats going on...

Post a new topicby rokdude52 on Wed May 07, 2008 4:49 pm

Hello everyone- I have hair thinness that run along my sideburns to about an inch above ears and about an 1 1/2 behind my ears. Im 55 male and had this thinness for a number of years. At first I attributed the thinness to calcium channel blockers- diltiazem then verapamil. Then about a year ago, my doctor decided I no longer need to take verapamil. After a number of verapamil-free months, my hair hasnt thicken at all. Now Im wondering if the alopecia is indicative of something else more serious or is the verapamil-induced thinness permanent? Any insights will be greatly appreciated.
