left cornary artery blockage

I am 75 years old, and have had hypertension for over thirty years. It is under control with
medication. I had a stress test and my cardiologist decided I should have a CT scan. It showed 90% blockage in the left coronary artery. I then had angioplasty, with three stents inserted. The doctor said it was 99% blocked.
I had absolutly no symptoms what ever. I quit smoking 40 years ago, I am not overweight, I do not have high cholesterol and I am careful with my diet.
