I am a 66 year old female. I take 10mg. zocor. My HDL is 105 - LDL 69 - Trig. 38. I have been told that my HDL is too high and I should have a VAP Lipid done. My local Dr. has never heard of this test. Total Cholesterol is 181. Has anyone heard of a VAP test and having the HDL too high?
