I had it for at least 15 years when I first noticed the swelling. Ultra sound ruled out other problems.
It kept growing slowly over the year. Now it is about a small orange size. I also start feeling the other side getting it.
I am going to see my Doctor who recommended surgery only if I feel discomfort.
Can you share with me the recovery process?
How many days after the surgery you had to be at home?
How many days it takes before you can start exercising? I am mainly do eliptical machine 20 minutes a day. How long can I expect before I can start hiking again? I hike from time to time 8-12 miles.
I read that there are limitations on lifting. How long should one avoid any lifting? some lifting?

hey man, when i got mine removed for 3 weeks the doctor advised that i wear a support they provided me with and dont do anything to strenuous(sp?) i was at home for about a week then i was alright to walk about fine but other on here recovery times are different. but i would say after 3 weeks youl definitely be moving round freely again.

Thanks. I am waiting to hear more. I know I need to be on feet and moving in a warehouse for hours for an important event at the end of January. So from what I understand I rather schedule it for February.
