Nesbit Procedure didn't work long-termI first noticed curvature in my penis about five years ago. It was diagnosed as peyronies, and I was told to wait a year and see if it continues. I waited two years, and it had worsened, so I had surgery to straighten it (Nesbit Procedure). It remained straight for about a year post surgery, and curvature came back.
I havent approached the urologist who performed the surgery yet, and hope that he might suggest an implant. I am also concerned that my insurance might not cover another go at solving the curvature problem. I am 61 years old, and sex is not impossible, but physically uncomfortable for both me and my wife. Any suggestions where to go from here? RCF
Re: Nesbit Procedure didn't work long-termCall your insurance company and ask. If not, see if you can work out something with your dr. and/or the hospital. However, I would assume that insurance should cover it. After all if your heart stopped working after a bypass, they would cover another bypass.
