You should go get yourself checked out by a GYN. There are several STDs that can be the cause of your symptoms. More common ones are chlamydia, gonorrhea, and bacterial vaginosis (gardnerella) or yeast infections. Some of these often go undiagnosed by both men and women for long periods because they may cause no symptoms. I personally just had a visit to my GYN today because of similar issues. I would rather find out what it is and get it treated. The long term effects of going untreated are far worse than finding out now and getting you are your partners treated. I understand it is embarrassing. I was embarrassed myself and usually have no problem going for my annual GYN visits. But do yourself and your boyfriend a big favor and get yourself checked out.
