Hello, my name is ScaredAmI.
I'm new here, so please be patient...
About 3 years ago, I had unprotected sex with female I met at a local Pool Hall(I was 17 then.)
Then a few days later a couple of my buddie's friends told me that the woman I had slept with had Herpes, so I went to the local Health Department to get checked.
Two weeks later, the results came back and they were negative...I was so releaved.
But about a month ago, I noticed these tiny bumps on the end of my penis and the left side of the foreskin.
So, I went back and retested and had the bumps exaimined, which the doctor said they were nothing more than penile papules.
The week that followed was the worst week of my life, I felt as though I were going crazy.
And during that time, I started having difficulty urinating.
Anyway, the results came back negative.
BUT, after asking the nurse a few questions, she told me that the Health Department does not test for Herpes...this made me totaly distaught.
Then I went to Emergency Room a couple of days ago for some pain I was having in my genitals, which the doctors did an MRI of some sort and diagnosed me with Hydrocele which they gave me an antibiotic called Cipro. And they also said I had a small bacterial infection, they gave me something for that as well.
After taking two doses of Cipro, I started having an itching sensation on my testicles and other parts of my body.
The Emergency room also set up an apointment with an Urologist to check up on my Hydrocele
But, my question is...could these just be side-affects of cipro or could they possibly be Herpes?
I've never had any symptoms that I know of...I'm really freaked out.
