Is there such a thing...

Post a new topicby outofmymindx4 on Tue Jul 31, 2007 8:23 pm

as Sertoli cells that are NOT cancerous? Does anyone know? My husband just had a tumour removed and the biospy determined it was not cancerous. However, any information I can find says that although, unusual in adult men, it is cancerous. My husband was told not to give it another thought anymore, but we worry.

Any information or links would be appreciated.

Cheers

Sertoli cell tumors are usually Benign or NOT cancerous. If you are still unsure ask for a second opinion (slides reviewed) from/by another pathologist to see if they agree with the tissue diagnosis.
