Hi
I am surprised something BIG has been missed out in this entire testosterone deficiency section- how it contributes to neurodegeneration and could be possibly a cause for Alzheimer's Disease(AD). The role of the hormone is also neurotrophic and neuro protective and once it declines with age, could be a contributing factor to age related AD. Readers and writers of this bit, please note this. And trust me, AD is not something we would like to even remotely have as a crazy nightmare for even our enemies, it is such a dreadful disease. Seen it closely and I am trying to get a grip on it 4 years after my grandfather died from a full blown case of AD- in men, low Testosterone is a potential cause.
