intimate life affected

Since the urologist whom I visited once told me that I have a varicocelle, I declined from engaging sex. I don’t know if it’s alright. I haven’t visited the urologist again though.
As of present time, I still have my varicocelle in me and I’m doing the alternative treatment like taking supplemental vitamins like vitamin E and C. Sometime the pain still occurs but I ignore it. I’m worried but I’m afraid to visit the urologist again. Now, I am dieting my self to ...Read the full article

Ok, why are you afraid to have sex? Are you scared that you'll make the condition worse? Did your Uroligist say for you not too? Is the pain to bad?

Let me be candid with ya, even though this is a sensitive subject. (Pun intended)

I have Varicocele, and I have sex/masturbate just fine. I ejac fine too. If I ejac too much (i.e. alot in a day from multiple ejaculations) I feel a little achey, but none worse for wear. I find that an occasional release is neccessary so i don't have that "extra weight" from heavy, sperm filled nuts.

I'm not at a point where I have insurance or the money to have corrective surgery, but I'll get it eventually. In the mean time I can cope. The pain isn't too bad. That, or I am getting used to it. I have my good days when I have no pain, and bad where it hurts to just have my balls hang. And if that the case I usually put on a pair of briefs, and poof, Instant relief. I prefer boxers, but when it hurts enough, I'll make the switch. Jockstraps can help if you perfer those. Boxer briefs are ok of you have support. I haven't tried a suspensory yet though, so jury's out on that. I don't know what is best for you since I don't know your anatomy. (i.e. Large Testes, "Low Hangers", etc.) Guess you should try what you can and see which of those help.

Personally, I don't have "low hangers"(testes that hang low/far from the body due to a long scrotum), so I would imagine it's more painful for those that do. I found that for me, sitting for too long can make it worse and cause more pain. Standing can be kinda bad if I'm not supported on a bad day. And, walking is painful at times unless my package is literally positioned front and center. Lying down seems to help if I'm wearing support and am on my back or side. I avoid strong pressure showers on my bad days too. If the high pressure stream of water even grazes me, ouch.

Don't be afraid to have sex, unless it is causing you pain or your urologist told you not to. I've never heard of sex making the condition worse, and never experianced it getting worse from sex or flying solo. If you have low hangers and they smack stuff from the movements you make, don't let em swing/bounce, or lay on you're back while having sex.

I only went to the Urologist after my doctor wanted to have my condition varified by a specialist. Then, I will go back to speak with him on the progress, or lack there of, and see if/when I can get surgery. You don't have to go regurlay unless that was your urologist's original plan for you. Or unless you feel the need to go.

Hope some of this helps.
