Radiating PainDoes anyone have any symptoms of radiating pain due to Varicocele? I have had a Varicocele foe 3 years. I have pain that radiates to my hip and down my left leg to the foot and toes. I have had this problem since having ingunial hernia surgey last year. I have been checked by multiple Dr's and they deny any issues from the surgey. Also had an MRI done on lower back to rule out any issues there and that was negative. I am just trying to nail down causes for my lingering and nagging pain. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Re: Radiating PainYes, I know what you mean. I had left side varicocele repair (ligation) and right side inguinal hernia repair at the same time on Dec 2nd done by two separate consultants at the same time. Unlucky to get both problems together eh?! Hernia repair worked fine but varicocele still present, still painful. Sometimes it feels that the pain from the varicocele radiates outwards into the groin and down the left leg...
I intend to go back to the consultant who did the varicocele repair and complain. Apparently embolization is a preferred treatment if repair is not successful. Will need to find an interventional radiologist for this. If any one knows a London based interventional radiologist who specialises in varicoceles, please let me know.... FF
