Varicocele and swollen perineum

Post a new topicby Enigma_77 on Mon Mar 23, 2009 12:27 pm

I was diagnosed with third grade varicocele almost two years ago. I did not do anything about it. The symptoms got worse, and finally I had embolization 10 days ago. The pain in testicles is slowly going away, and the blood circulation within scrotum seems to be going back to normal gradually. The scrotum is less swollen now. However, one malicious problem seems to remain the same... Since I got this disease, I found an unusual enlargement in the "perineum" (the area between scrotum and the anus) during the erection. The blood seems to swarm and gather in that area during the erection, pressuring the testicles aside, causing discomfot and some pain. I am not sure if it's the spermatic cord or any other vessels that enlarges. And I am not sure if it's even a symptom of the varicocele at all since I feel no improvement about it after the embolization. Any information about this from other members will be highly appreciated.
